I realized this today as I watched Ken get his blood drawn, yet again.
Almost 2 months of blood draws, doctor's visits, EKG's, & a cardioversion, you would think we'd be accustomed to the routine, on the contrary. Some days are easier than others, today was one of those days that I wanted to crawl into bed, fall asleep, wake up & it's gone. But here we are, preparing for yet another cardioversion, scheduled for Friday.
As a nurse, I take care of patients that live with A-Fib, most of them between the ages of 70-90 so I know that this is far from life threatening. As a nurse, I know this is manageable. But as a wife, who is watching her husband go through all this....
