Heart of the matter.

Leave it to a medical diagnosis to slap you in the face & remind you how vulnerable you are.  It's been a month since Ken was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation.  While it's not the greatest news we've had-we found it & thus is being taking care of.

Because he is Superman & is in excellent health, he has thankfully not experienced any of the discomfort atrial fibrillation can cause.  The echocardiogram, the stress test, the weekly lab draws, & the aggressive medicine regimen has finally prepared us for what we are hoping is the ultimate fix.

Despite the long, stressful, exhausting month it has been for both of us, we remain very optimistic & hope this will all soon be a memory.
